If there’s one beauty essential I’ll always invest to, it’s non other than Lip tint. Whether you’re a beauty guru, or a beginner who wish to have a subtle blush “no make” up make-up look, lip tints will always be a must.

A “tint” is defined as “slight pale coloration”, but this tint that I’ve been using for months exceeds the tint’s definition. It’s pigmented, long lasting, easy to blend and in case you haven’t heard; It’s Local! Yes! With a lot of beauty brands surrounding lately,  it’s just alluring to find local brands that has a whole lot of style and substance.

Made even better,  introducing Colourtint Intense blend lip and cheek oil tint by Colourette Cosmetics. For lazy girls like me who prefers cutting make up routines every morning, the versatility of this tint is one of the reasons why it’s actually worth the hype. I decided to share my cents and address some mostly asked questions that I’ve been receiving in Instagram and also for those who haven’t tried these yet, but is interested in taking the leap of putting it in your” addtocart” list.

What’s the finish of the Colourtints?
Colourette cosmetics launched their new formulation from Mattte shades, it now has a “Fresh” upgrade! There are 10 shades for Matte finish and 10 shades for fresh (satin)  finish.

Is it pigmented & easy to blend?
Yes!
Definitely a yes. That’s what I love the most about this colourtint; it is never streaky. I’ve tried tints that tends to dry up easily creating that uneven “tint mark” on your face and fingers if not blended immediately. Colourtints are easy to blend yet pigmentation wasn’t sacrificed. It’s too pigmented that I advice you to put just at least 2 drops (dot) on your cheeks for a subtle blush.

Since it’s oil based, is it alright for oily acne prone skin?
As far as I know these tints are non-comedogenic and has an Argannia Spinosa Kernnel Oil in the ingredients. An oil that’s said to be rich in vitamin E and is used for skin care products. Also the oil-based is set to dry easily & it doesn’t feel greasy. Disclaimer: Used it but never break out, well as for me.

is Matte finish Lightweight and not Patchy?
Definitely lightweight! I don’t have to be conscious for it feels like I’m wearing nothing. At all. For a non patchy finish, I advice you to shake it real good and a little lip moisturize (just a little since this is oil base already) to avoid clumping. It’s not drying as well.

Can I use it for my cheeks or lids too?
TOTALLY.
I’ve been achieving that rose-colored subtle blush with these tints. I swear. I am a lazy girl and there are times when I leave the house and this is the only make up I bring with me. As I’ve said, it’s too versatile that can be 3-way used. I know right!

Best Shade for Morenas?
One thing I love about colourette cosmetics is how their shades are formulated for Filipina skin! Almost all of the shades, I think would look good on morenas. But my top picks are Ondrei, Maddie, Kira, Zola, Dione, Naomi!

What’s your go-to and favorite shades?
